3K/Pre- Kindergarten: Use Flower Door

Arrival Time: 8:10A.M. Breakfast served in classroom

*Students will enter through the “Flower Door” (Exit 4) into the All Purpose Room and proceed to their designated classrooms. Parents will NOT be permitted to enter the classroom.

*Parents are allowed to accompany their children to the classroom door. Parents will exit through the MAIN ENTRANCE doors.

 

Dismissal: Time: 2:00P.M.

*Ms. Orsini/Safety Agent opens the door for the parents lined up outside the Lefferts Avenue Door (Exit 2)

*Parents enter to the classroom doors. Parents pick up their child at the classroom door and exit through the MAIN ENTRANCE doors.

 

 

Kindergarten: Enter Parking Lot Through Driveway

Arrival Time 8:00 – 8:05A.M. Ms. Mendez hands out breakfast

Auditorium Patrol: Ms. DeTommaso & Ms. Mendez

 

*Students will line up outside the Kindergarten door. Students will enter the auditorium on their own and be seated by class. Classroom teachers will come to the auditorium by 8:00 A.M. and monitor their class. At 8:05A.M., teachers will exit the auditorium using staircase E.

*Parents are allowed to accompany their children while they are outside.

 

Dismissal Time: 2:00P.M.

 

*Students are escorted by their teachers down staircase G into the auditorium. Classes K1, K2 & K3 will exit through the doors on the left side of the stage, K4 and K5 will exit through the doors on the right side of the stage. Students are dismissed to a family member.

 

First Grade: Enter Parking Lot Through Driveway

*Students will enter cafeteria doors, through the parking lot side. Students will be seated by class at cafeteria tables. Classroom teachers will come to the cafeteria by 8:00 A.M. and monitor their class. At 8:05 A.M., teachers will exit the cafeteria using staircase H

*Parents are allowed to accompany their children while they are outside

 

Dismissal: Time: 2:00P.M.

*Students are escorted by their teachers down staircase H into the cafeteria. Classes will exit through the cafeteria door and are dismissed to a family member.

 

Second Grade: 111th Ave Facing Entrance

Arrival Time 8:00A.M. Maria Ramdhanie hands out breakfast for both grades 2 & 3

Arrival Support: Ms. DeStefano & Ms. Hou

 

Staircase Patrol: Ms. A (Staircase A second floor)

Students enter the building using (Exit 3) and proceed directly to their classrooms using staircase A. Teachers must be in their classroom, ready to receive students, by 8:00 A.M.

*Parents are allowed to accompany their children while they are outside

 

Dismissal:

Time: 2:10 P.M.

*Students are escorted by their teachers down staircase A and through Exit 2. Teachers line up students, by class, outside the cafeteria. Parents enter the school yard and pick up their child.

 

Third Grade: 111th Ave Entrance by School Gate (Look for signs)

Arrival Time 8:00A.M. 1 Lunchroom staff hands out breakfast for both grades 2 & 3

Students will line up on the left side of the 111th Ave entrance (Exit 2). Students enter entrance and proceed directly to their classrooms using staircase B. Teachers must be in their classroom, ready to receive students, by 8:00 A.M.

 

Dismissal: Time: 2:10 P.M.

*Students are escorted by their teachers down staircase and enter the All Purpose Room. Teachers exit through the Pre-K Door (Exit 4) Students are lined up in the yard, by the basketball hoops and are picked up by their parents.

 

Fourth Grade: Main Entrance

Arrival Time 8:00 – 8:05 A.M.

BRT Member: Ms. Kaufman

Arrival Support: Ms. Toledano & Ms. Zirino

Staircase Patrol: Ms. Feurestein & Ms. Parente

Security Desk: Ms. Georgie

 

*Students enter the main entrance and proceed directly to their classrooms using staircase C. Teachers must be in their classroom, ready to receive students, by 8:00 A.M.

*Parents are allowed to accompany their children while they are outside

 

Dismissal: Time: 2:20 P.M.

Auditorium Patrol: Ms. Peters

Security Desk: Ms. Rahman

Students are escorted by their teachers and dismissed though the main entrance.

 

Fifth Grade: Main Entrance (Look for signs)

Arrival Time 8:00 – 8:05 A.M.

BRT Member: Ms. Kaufman

 

Security Desk: Ms. Georgie

*Students enter the main entrance and proceed directly to their classrooms using Staircase D. Teachers must be in their classroom, ready to receive students, by 8:00 A.M.

Students are escorted by their teachers and dismissed though the main entrance.

 

 

**All paraprofessionals must meet their 1:1 student at their arrival location by 8:00AM**

 

Bus Students- ALL GRADES

· Students taking the bus/van services must be brought to the auditorium at 2:05 PM. The General Education Teacher of the ICT class on each grade will collect the bus children at 2:00 PM and bring them to the auditorium and then meet their class at dismissal.

 

**ALL Staff MUST remain in the school building until 2:20 pm**

 

***Teachers will escort students not picked up to the auditorium. Ms. Peters will monitor and make phone calls to parents of students not picked up.***
